Who is TWS Editing scientific writing:
TWS Editing was founded in 2009 by Maighread Gallagher as a service to the biomedical community. Maighread is bilingual (English and French), her native language is English.
Following a PhD in immunology, Maighread worked for 9 years in biomedical research in England and France (see Maighread's CV). Over the years, she gained specialist knowlegde in a number of domains, including proteomics, stem cell research and signal transduction. In addition to basic research, Maighread also worked in the pharmaceutical industry and has experience of quality assurance systems.
Maighread has published a number of articles in both English and French in peer reviewed journals (see Bibliography). She has also been called upon as a reviewer and, frequently over the years to edit and translate scientific articles and other documents written by non-native English speakers.
Maighread is a member of MET (Mediterranean Editors and Translators) and of the SFT (Société Française de Traducteurs)
